Hi all!

I've been spending many long hours working on my linking rings routine for the family show I'm doing at the Edinburgh Fringe.

My last crash link just turned one of my solid single rings into a spare key ring!

I'm find for the moment, as my routine's a four-ring routine, meaning that I have a spare single from my set of eight, but I definitely need to buy a new set in case this happens again.

Can anyone recommend a source for good quality, sturdy rings that will withstand a good pounding?

are these steel rings? If So, You should be able to get them re brazed.
the joint will be much stronger than originaly, because a decent welder will do a decent job.

over the years when i was in the engineering trade I had several sets mended for people.

trust me, Its well worth it. And not that expensive.

( Davies do a good strong steel set...I mean look how Roy treates them during his act, you know the things are strong )

Nah... they're not steel as far as I can see - looking at the break, they seem to be something like brass, but chrome-plated.

I'll hunt down a Davies' set.

you can get the brass ones fixed, but as brass is a soft metal, they do tend to break. Go for steel. Heavy plates steel.. or you can get polished stainless steel rings. They cost an arm and a leg, but they dont chip.
