Sometimes, the world is a confusing place isn't it?

All this fuss that's kicked off, about the cloned beef is puzzling the heck out of me.
Firstly, the animals that "entered the food chain" wernt cloned. Their mother on the other hand was. From what i can gather, the calves were born naturaly.
And the mother, was cloned from a perfectly normal, healthy cow. so she will be a copy of, a perfectly normal cow.

Now thanks to the media going into melt down, people are out there thinking that they will suddenly sprout an extra head, after eating that burger for lunch.

What amazes me, is that there is more risk to the human population from all the hormones, and chemicals that "perfectly normal, naturaly reared farm animals" are pumped full of,, to ensure that the consumer can eat steak when ever they feel like....

why doesnt the press follow that one up eh?

On the basis that there's always a silver lining, I think we can now start to recycle all those old 'Mad Cow Disease' jokes... :D
