This is the downfall of many magicians these days; it was certainly mine for a while.
Concentrate on something you already have, or just go back to a book you haven't read for a couple of years and relearn something.

Echoing what Lawrence said, how about you do what I did this month?
Buy something that will improve what you already do.

I can heartily recommend Richard Osterlind's Principles of Magic. A very fine book indeed.
