The Illusionist

NOT the Ed Norton film of the same name, rather the animated French film that has been released.

I went to see it tonight and while the magic very much takes a back seat to the crux of the story, it's still well worth a look. It's very captivating, but also one of the saddest films i've ever seen.

Anyone else seen it? Because it's not CGI animation and it's French, it has a very limited release, but it's worth hunting down while it's on the cinema, i don't think it would look the same in the front room.

I saw it, preferred Belleville Rendezvous, but it was lovely to look at.
