"Polter" by Phanthomas

This rather short manuscript (one folded A4 page!) is described in it's sales blurb as an effect so scary that your victims will be convinced that there is a poltergeist in the room with them. Unfortunately the reality of the matter is, that they will more than likely discover that you have been playing sillybuggers and denounce you as being a right t***.

If you value your reputation and the money in your wallet then i advise you to steer well clear of this blatant (in my opinion) RIP OFF!

Not only are you asked to fork out between 10 - 15 quid (depending where you choose to purchase) for this single piece of paper, but you then have to visit your local pharmacy to purchase the main item used to construct the gimmick. It is basically a device that is meant to give the impression that an object has moved by itself. One of the main problems I have with the concept is that the evidence of the device is easily to be found after the event by anyone with even half a brain, or perhaps Phanthomas thinks that the victims of this spooky effect will be sooo terrified that they will all run screaming from the room, never to return. Tell you what though, this is one punter who will most definately never return to purchase anything offered by this company.

Can you tell that i 'm miffed?

Difficulty Rating: a blind hamster could do it. But why would it ever want to?
