I also notice the very shape changing tower of cards! eek!

Loved it though, as standard.

I have been thinking that maybe the Doctor we saw killed at the start of the series was the ganger we saw last night. They said the copies were exact so maybe it could regenerate and the real doctor was the one who was in the other suit. Probably wrong as it is too obvious but we will see soon.

It's in the first few seconds of the ep in the bottom right hand corner

LOL! I just checked and it's definitely there - at least for the first couple of seconds right at the opening of the ep...

It's like one of those classic optical illusions - as the camera moves it suddenly becomes VERY obvious and then, as the camera continues to move, it loses its similarity. Great spot!

Good Ep this week too - I, too, thought of the Sontarans when we first saw the Gangers marching down towards the camera... Like to idea of the Doctor-ganger being the one that got shot in the opening ep... the suspense is too much!

I was thinking that too, but I would find it odd if any type of clone story was able to replicate the Original 100%. Because pretty much all clone type stories have it to where the clones usually have some sort of defect or something.

Also if it was The Doctor who shot the Doctor-ganger it wouldn't make any sense for him to appear, then shot his clone and then simply walk off back into the ocean like it was nothing..

Oh and Frankenstein! Lots of Frankenstein references too!

Very strong rumors from a source that predicted the end we just saw! Plus the BBC said ep 7 changes everything!

Yep - apparently so... Mind you I also saw it written (before the series aired) that the 'big' cliffhanger was tonight's episode and not the mid-series finale - guess we'll have to wait and see!!

Matt Smith does get better and better though, doesn't he?? :-D

EDIT - just watched the 'prequel' to next week's episode on the BBC website....wasn't that character also in David Tennant's final show? Seem to remember him chatting to River Song in a bar/Star Wars 'Cantina' style setting..... Wonder if he'll play a bigger part next week or whether he just gets into that blue make-up to act as an expository device when required!?

EDIT 2 - Ooooooh someone just pointed me towards this trailer for next week's show - if they're spending this much mid-series, they must in Hollywood territory for the series finale!!! (is that Rory back in his Roman-garb, I notice.....?)
