Footprints - Alan Astra

FOOTPRINTS By Alan Astra

£10 on Bikes Red/Blue

I have owned and performed this effect for over 5 years.

Effect:-

Normal invisable deck start - so lots of chance for byplay and the invisable card is kept safe under their foot.

Eventually you get the spectator to name the invisable card they choose.

The deck is taken out and fanned showing front and back and all is normal.

Their card is removed and placed on the table.

They retrieve the invisable card from under their foot and throw it at the card on the table.

The card is turned over and their foot print is on the other side.

This is a self working effect so you can concentrate on your performance.

Difficulty 1
Whilst it is easy to do the mechanics of the trick the better you perform it the stronger the effect.

Alan includes a two card routine with it and also suggestions on performance from David Penn AIMC Magic Circle and IBM close-up Champion.

So Paula, is this one that you perform as part of your professional repertoire? I must admit I like the comedy aspect of the footprint...

Hi

I perform this but with lots and lots of byplay - it is so easy and as said you can concentrate on the entertainment.

I normally finish my set with a Lennart Green colour seperation four aces routine.

Or a four ace routine with the last ace found under the card case on the table.

After doing such an easy one my fingers are itching to do some "Moves".
