Postby bananafish » Sep 28th, '04, 10:14

What are everyones favourite rubber band Effects?

What is (are) your favourite effect(s) that involve rubberbands? In fact how popular is rubber band magic? Do you include any rubber band effects in your general performances - or do you just do them in impromptu situations because that is all that is at hand?

I love rubber band magic :)
I start of with a broken and restored elastic band, then do Crazy Man's handcuffs, the shrinking band and then I go into my ring and band routine, which is a mixture of pinacle, Ring band-it and a few moves of my own. I think my favourite is CMH.

I'm a great fan of the simple rubber band too, although out of all the rubber band magic I can do, the two effects I think are strongest are CMH, and linking bands.

With linking bands I do a mixture of the standard Ammar/Harlan's (It must be one of theirs!) and Vincent Mendoza's Found Link.

I'm still not 100% happy with using Pinnacle and the Rhing Thing yet, but hopefully if I answer the same question next year they will also be included.

I do do other effects, but those for me are streets ahead...

I only use CMH, so that's my favourite. It finishes any magic I'm doing as walk-around.
