The fact that the public may consider the black deck as 'rigged' in some way is a challenge for any magician - but as Michael says, surely just a presentational issue... Is the issue of (mis)trust not a common occurence in the spectator-magician relationship, even without these cards? Think of all the stories that go with using a chinese coin, or even sponge balls etc. Don't see it as a negative, consider it a useful opportunity to gain your audiences trust, or at the very least a chance to be creative.
Michael you said that the black decks haven't taken off in your part of the world - how about becoming the trend-setter...? These cards could set you aside from other magicians and make you stand out. Anything that differentiates one magician from another is surely a good thing for everybody...
