Description You show a spectator a sealed can of pop, it can be handed to them to examine at their will...... nothing suspicious there (apart from maybe your choice in pop for those of you weirdos who drink dandelion and burdoch)
after taking back the can, you borrow a coin from the spec and continue to push the coin through the can..... instantly showing your hands to be clear, you now ask the spec to shake the can and whad'ya know..... the coin can be heard bouncing around inside.
the great part is the penetration can happen whilst the spectator holds the can!!
Review i have to say i was apprehensive about purchasing this effect. After buying criss angels version of coin in soda can umpteen years ago..... i was left dissapointed..... not that the effect wasn't good, just that i wasn't comfortable with the moves used (i was only just starting out in magic when i bought it)
But upon seeing the demo for this effect, i was instantly hooked, it looks so clean and visual and i knew that there had to be more to it than what criss angel had offered me years ago
the DVD itself isn't all that great..... there is no voiceovers, just some reeeeeeally dodgy music and a fellow who doesn't want his mug to be shown on screen.
However...... after learning the method you will be wanting to perform this a lot!!!! there is quite a bit of setup involved, but for the results it will produce it is well worth the time spent constructing the necessary props.
Though there is no voice, the DVD is easy to follow and you will be able to knock up the props in about 10 minutes.
The one thing Angels version had going for it was the fact it was impromptu...... but i cant stess enough how amazing this effect looks when performed. When the spec is holding the can and you slam the coin through it they are gobsmacked... it is so powerful.
and after the penetration.....the spec can open the can themselves and pour the drink out, something that they couldn't do with angels version.
in conclusion i have to say this is a must buy for, well, anyone really!!! if you perform close up/streeet magic this will fit nicely into any routine..... i personally am a card man but i take a can with me eerywhere i go now....even if your not a coin person, im sure you will be able to fit this in somewhere!!! and for £15.99.... you can't go wrong really!!
