I agree with everything Tom says about this. It plays very well.

I will add that it seems identical with a Marc Paul effect called Synchronicity, which supposedly Marc came out with first, so I don't know what's going on there. In saying that I can't actually see anywhere that sells the Marc Paul effect so maybe they came to some agreement...

I have been using Marc Paul's version of this (The Syncronicity Pack) for some time and it is an excellant routine that promises to slay audiences.
The only place that I know of that you can get this from is Marc's website at www.marcpaul.com. You then need to enter the secret section by adding a certain word to the address line to gain access. Any magician/mentalist shouldn't have any problems with this whatsoever!!

Whether you choose Triple Impact or The Syncronicity Pack, they should go straight into your list of working routines as both are so easy to do (with a little thought) and will make you look as if you have super powers of mentalism!!

Actually, Mark's effect (which is the original, and in my opinion, the better) is available from Kaymar Magic Co. They don't have a website yet, but you can call them 01708 640557. Kaymar have the rights to the Dynamic effects range, which also includes Affected By Berglas... marc paul's card at any number.

Liam.

Hi Liam, I trust you will be bringing these and more to the Ipswich Magical Society Convention on Nov. 7th?

Sorry to bump an old thread!

But, It's better than making a new one...right?

Well I saw this effect years ago, and I just found what it was called!

I'm just hoping someone can answer my question?

...can this be done with a shuffled deck?

No not really. A quick false shuffle will do. It's pretty in fathomable after that as you can display the deck as random! It's a fairly instant reset. Easy to do!!

I know this is well old but I was sorting out lighting and sound stuff for a new state of the art new studio in my house ;) I got some mates over, cracked open a few beers, and started filming some stuff. I kept it all simple so triple impact was in there. I even managed to get in my favourite Osterlind impression - "Fair??????? That was fair right???????????" :D

And here it is - being performed by that irrepressible wit, Monty Kray:
