I am currently learning some card magic and have the DVDs of Complete Card Magic as taught by Gerry Griffin.

I am finding them very useful and i think Gerry teaches very well. I recently e-mailed him to tell him I am enjoying the DVDs and i was actually very surprised to recieve a reply the next day, which was very encouraging. What a nice guy!

Just wondering if other members have either met or corresponded with their favourite magician?

Hello AA,

This was one of the first dvd sets I bought.
Like you, I found the teaching methods very helpful, & I still use some of the routines today.
I love the marked deck, & have added a few touches to this routine of my own (well, bits borrowed from other routines)

One of my favourite magicians is John Carey, he's a really nice bloke, & always responds to my emails.
I can highly recommend "Handle with Carey" if you haven't already seen it.

Darwin Ortiz has taken the time to reply to my emails. So has John Guastaferro, both brilliant card magician's,
& there dvd's contain some of the most visual card magic I have seen.

Take care.
