Impromptu Packet Tricks

Postby CArlight1958 » Aug 15th, '11, 13:45

Packet Tricks are one of the most interesting branches of card magic.
Using only a small number of cards magic is created that is often easy to follow, visual, & very magical. On this DVD Aldo Colombini presents fifteen packet tricks routines that can be performed using a borrowed deck, & at a moments notice. Along the way he also teaches packet trick concepts, & the many slight-of-hand techniques that are regularly used when dealing with small packets of cards.

Routines performed, & explained.

For Marlo (David Regal)
Oil & Queens (Roy Walton)
Shiftless Royality (Robin Robertson)
Masque Backwards (J.K. Hartman)
Curtain Call (Max Haven)
The Ultimate Truth ( Peter Duffie)
That's Not Possible (Paul Gordon)
Oil & Water (Karl Fulves)
Stingray (Aldo Colombini)
Royal Rhumba (Jean Pierre Vallarino)
Wallaby (Hiro Sakai)
French Twist (Richard Vollmer)
Modena Aces (Cervon & Vernon)
Exit (Aldo Colombini)
Along with the routines you will learn important slight-of-hand techniques which I do not think would be appropriate to print here.

I love small packet tricks, as I think most people do.
This is a fantastic DVD.
As with all of my DVD purchases I flick through the content, looking for the best of the routines to get down.
I did the same with this, but to be totally honest, all of the routines are good, so I'm just gonna start at the beginning. I think anyone who liikes small packet tricks will love this DVD, & at £24.99 well worth the investment, considering most small packet card tricks are around the £10 to £15 pound mark.
A few slights are involved, but nothing which cannot be achieved with a little time, & practice, all are explained very well, with good camera angles, & all the tricks end very clean.
Mr Colombini makes me laugh (Nice Guy)

Very pleased with this purchase, so hope this helps.
