Best ACAAN ????

Postby moonbeam » Aug 27th, '11, 19:45

Well I know that this may have been done to death, but I've just done a search and I think there might be some issues with the new forum, as it returned no results :(

I'm after a good ACAAN routine, preferably somewhere that explains the Berglas effect, but I know that's a no-no  ...... so any others plzz ???

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

.... fair enough - but I only carry one deck of cards with me when I'm out on the beer .... and that's when I tend to do most of my tricks :)

A cull, a perfect faro, two spectators and RIch Ferguson's method and you are off and away with a regular deck anytime.

Rus Andrews numbers is quite nice and simple. It's CAAN rather than ACAAN, but it's not like that will matter to the audience. It does need your own deck with a set up, no shuffling before hand. There is currently 30% off anything from the site with the code:IWANTITALL

the berglas effect is not, as such, a direct method to perform the ACAAN........ its not like wanting to learn say, derren browns 3 card routine where there are set moves to follow that garuntee the same performance every time..

A one way deck could give you a 'chosen' card at any number (CAAN) but not any card at any number (ACAAN) Boris Wild has a version that sounds excellent, http://www.dudethatscoolmagic.co.uk/aca ... thday.html I couldn't find any reviews on here or on Bunny but I am sorely tempted if it can do everything it states.

I found a demo of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiysNd9eA9Y It is quite good but I didn't like the pocket stuff. I wonder, did he use the pocket because he was standing or could you leave the cards in view on the table if you wished? If anyone has this, I would be interested in knowing.

The pocket and jacket is essential.

I guessed that was the case  .
Unfortunately, I usually wear jeans and t-shirt when I'm out, so .... in that case ........ I'm out :(

Thanks Lenoir. It's still a good trick but not quite as good as the advert suggests. I'm not much of a jacket person, so I'll give that a miss.

I don't want to disclose anything on here, but I've found something out from a magic dealer which imposes limits on me performing this .... just one question though - would I need a jacket, or could I perform it using both of my jeans pockets for example?? I'd really like this, but I think I'd be too restricted in my jeans and t-shirt .... feel free to PM me if u think you'll expose anything.
