Review

The first thing i noticed about the product was how lovely the packaging is. The deck comes in a lovely box that includes a coin, Jamie's business card and a lovely glossy instruction sheet. This is one those effects that you can perform straight away, the moment you open the box you will be ready to test it out in a couple of minutes. What i really like about this is the quality of the actual prop, it has been created with such care and love that you will have no problems using it. You can 'adjust things' to suit you (when you get the effect you will understand this) and it works like a dream. I have just been trying it out and it is just wonderful.

This would be an ideal opening effect for table work and that is what i intend to use it for. The only thing to bear in mind is that the prop weighs 1.5 pounds so you may want to get a carrier for it (maybe a pro carrier) as it will make your jacket pockets sag. Reset on this is easy (just tried it and you can do this between tables with ease). The more you practice resetting the easier it will be. I really rate this highly and i think this is a professional piece that any performer would be proud to include in their act.

At this point someone will say 'but you can buy a cheap version from..' Well i think you get what you pay for. This is far better than other versions of this effect, if you have the budget then do not miss out on one of the best effects released in the last few years.

Overall

Perfect in every way! 11/10

Totally agree. I got mine a couple of days ago and have been fondling it ever since. I'll use it tonight. A nice touch for us Uk folks is that Jamie included a ten pence coin (instead of a US quarter). Jamie sends three pre-delivery email which make suggestions and answer some very useful set up questions; I didn't get these but, having told jamie, I had them in my inbox about three squillie seconds (which is very fast) after I had told him.

Heavy, yes - but that adds to the spectator surprise. I will carry mine in one of those small money-belt pouches you can put on your belt. Unlike a lot of magic items you see reviewed, this really is as good as people say it is.

My CUPS-nerves are a tingling.

Can you put anything through this, such as a fork picked up from a spec's table?

PM me if answernig that would reveal anything.

You will use this all the time! Be thinking about what holder you want to get for this.

Good point. I think I might have an old PDA holder for a belt that would fit a bike deck. Will start looking.

Two weeks seems ages away now! :D

Saw one of our boys perform it. Awesome. And fine for a quick examination but you wouldn't want anyone to get too carried away.

I was out with Luke Clough from this forum the other day and he was performing this all day.

It was getting great reactions. He let most examine it as well. (no problems)

I am now offically back performing close-up magic (elbow now working!) and this is one of the effects i have been using. A great worker that is well worth the money and people can inspect it.

I've seen it performed once and it was handed out and the gaff was discovered. Must have been bad luck on this occasion!

Yeah, but discovered by a magician.
