Hypnosis

Postby Chris Black » Oct 6th, '11, 13:55

I was just looking at the Reality is Plastic thread and Beardy commented on how long it's been around.

I wonder if this is, not only down to the brilliance of the document itself, but also the interest hypnotism has generated amongst magicians. I was on the Manchester meet last weekend and there were a few people there who said they looked into it.

Would it be relevant to open a hypnosis section, rather than have everything posted in just one thread?

Nice idea Ace T, but, I wonder if Hypnosis is really considered "magic" and therefore would stop such a section being created.
I myself am one of the guys from the meet who have become fascinated with the art of Hypnosis and after spending time in Rob's company, have seriously been bitten by the bug.
So, we will have to see what happens, but, I do second the suggestion.

"suggestion" see what you did there...

True, hypnotism may not be Magic, but there seems to be a large crossover between the hypno, magic & mentalism. I personally feel it would be a good addition to the forums in the same way the mentalism sections are (probably, I can't see them).

Maybe an area, similar to the naked mentalism area for the R.I.P. owners to chat/help each other out.

I've yet to see Rob hypnotise anyone, I think you'd left when we went to Wetherspoons, I hypnotised a young lad from Stoke while we were in there. Nothing spectacular, I just stuck him to the table for a while.

There are lots of dedicated hypno forums out there and any time it gets mentioned on here a number of predictable responses turn up, so maybe not...

There are three types of hypnosis. First there is stage hypnosis, second there is therapy hypnosis and third there is this daft nonsense of so called "street hypnosis". Which kind of hypnosis are you talking about? Each has nothing whatsoever to do with the other.

I was gonna post this. I would love to discuss hypnosis on here rather than having to have two different accounts on different forums. Also hypnosis is often part of a mentalism routine (Derren brown ect) and can easily be linked to magic as is appears to have an almost magical effect.

I don't feel strongly one way or the other about a hypnosis section. My only objection is that it will probably result in an exhibition of the blind leading the blind.

I love you Mark Lewis.

Thank you for your valued contribution on this site and others.

I wasnt aware that you practice hypnosis also?? Would you happen to have a video we could all watch and learn from? I would be most greatful.

Also, what route did you take in learningbl hypnosis? I'm aware that there are at least two different routes in terms of induction.

Kindest regards,

Alec

Alec old chap. I love me too and in fact I worship the very ground I walk on. But to your question. Yes. I do indeed practice hypnosis and I do indeed have a video you can watch which I shall post when I have the energy. And in fact I have a course on the subject which is sold by lybrary.com or by me directly. If you get it from lybrary you get that download watch-it-on-the-computer thing at a discounted price or you can get it from me as hard copy DVDS at a not-so-discounted price.

However the only kind of hypnosis I practice is stage hypnosis. I do not approach people in the street and do this impromptu nonsense which established stage hypnotists frown upon. I don't frown upon it as much as my colleagues on the grounds that I don't know much about it but it does seem against the laws of nature and is the province of acne ridden teenagers who would be better employed at doing something else. Besides from what I hear it sounds a mite dangerous and possibly illegal according to Jonathon Royle who is renowned as an expert in these matters despite having a Northern England accent.

As for what route I took in learning it I shall have to explain it later since it will take quite a bit of time to do so. Suffice it to say for the moment that I took no "training" whatsoever and learned it from a book. I found great difficulty in the beginning because I was daft enough to think that the hypnotic trance was a real thing. However, I made great progress when one of the greatest stage hypnotists of the 20th Century, Paul Goldin informed me that the whole thing was a load of tosh and nobody is under "hypnosis" in the first place. When I realised from Paul that the whole thing was a load of old baloney I made great progress in the matter.

Re: Hypnosis - Why Hypnosis Training is a Must?

Postby PureHypnosis » Apr 19th, '16, 13:00

Every day, scores and meet new people if you're like me, these people are on a terrific, he did not want to make long-lasting expression. Hypnosis is a way that can only help. How many times have you felt embarrassed while tense negotiations? How many times have lost confidence in yourself? How many times have you "just do not want to hear" some people have thought not reach out. Well, with hypnosis training, you can listen to these people.

You do this work, I always wanted to get that confidence back and get a brief history of Superman thing with hypnosis Atlanta training may be all. Hypnosis training, there are a variety of factors, including income and hypnosis training in various ways. There are various hypnosis training courses available on the web. Here you can find some really good training material hypnosis.

So what is exactly why you should opt for Hypnosis Training?

    1. Hypnosis is a very good training to improve concentration and increase the focus intense. If he has a weak will power, hypnosis training to increase significantly the concentration and focus by the change can help or want to focus on channeling your attention.

    2. therapeutic hypnosis training hypnosis training you some anti-addiction therapy and hypnosis, smoking etc., something or some habits such as alcohol addiction, if you want to quit has proven very efficient operation.

    3. Hypnosis training, all voes anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, and so may be the answer to the problem. Hypnosis training and also to improve the mental state can get out of depression and mania.

    4. Hypnosis training, weight loss and has proven to be extremely effective in terms of earnings. This brings much-needed discipline to lose weight and stay healthy. Hypnosis training, which helps you in gaining weight, so you can improve appetite and help increase food craving. Most people are not oriented mindsets and do not compliment the program because most of the weight management program is a great success and the general public.

    5. Hypnosis training can cope with stress and stress-related health problems. You can reduce the hypnosis training activities of the mind, because I find even more remarkable rejuvenation and relax.

    6. Incredible hypnosis training can help improve reflexes and response to stimuli. If you achieve your goals much faster this way.

    7. During hypnosis training, the mind becomes open to suggestion. This would leave room for those who develop self-esteem and allows them to overcome their personal fears with positive thoughts.

Now, this is all true, the treatment seems to work best, but expensive when, why people, other treatments and therapies thousands of dollars that choice and you need to think not spent, and hypnosis is not a part of the Did the treatment you know that one, go a very long and Freud himself It was used by. Hypnosis training, works on individuals with individual cases, and I still use it some psychologist therapy sessions. So you see, it is still widely used. Here you can learn hypnosis free.
