Yep thanks Stephen, I've managed to get on properly now and can confirm it's there for £30 although if I buy this and blockbusters I get £15 discount!

Sounds like my ex wifes idea of saving money...

They will be! I can't order these from where I'm working as our connection isn't secure but I'll be ordering them next Tuesday for sure. Thanks for the review Stephen. :D

Out of interest, what makes you say your connect is not secure? Just wondering as I work for an e-commerce company and it helps to know different reasoning behind people not ordering online. Sorry to derail slightly.

Hi Dave,

A tiny bit of background! I'm currently on a boat in the middle of the Persian Gulf using a ships public computer used by the whole crew. A couple of months ago I had my bank account emptied and quite a lot of money removed from my account. I got it all back but at considerable inconvenience to me and my time.

Whilst I can't put this down to shopping online from these computers (it could have just as easily been my card was cloned while in the UK) I can't rule it out either so I prefer not to take the risk. If I have to shop out here which I frequently feel the need to do then I try and use my blackberry to go online with. Unfortunately where we are currently working I have no mobile signal either.

For the record I'm usually all for ordering online and frequently champion it to my parents.

Kind regards,

Shaun.

Cheers, Shuan!

Sorry to hear you got had by internet fraudsters and thanks for explaining how it happened. I think you have the right to be cautious after that. Public computers are definitely a risk as you can't know what key loggers and trojans might be on there. It's even more risky if you don't know the other people using that PC as it's obviously easier to install dodgy software directly.

Anyway, I better get back on subject.

I've bought quite a few bits and bobs of Paul's and I find it to be a nice balance between solid fundamentals and workable slights. It means you get flamboyancy while retaining consistency, so it can repeated and used regularly without a fear of heavy/clumsy method.

I intend to buy Card Startlers 2 when I've got through the rest of the DVDs I need to work through.

Paul is quick getting things sent out and should only take a few days for an order to reach you

Excellent thanks Stephen, I'm hoping to get these by Monday as I have a job to go to for a couple of months. If not then I'll look forward to getting them when I return. :)

Hi Paul, sorry I missed this post,

I really enjoyed the discs and as my skills progress I'm hoping I'll be able to take lots from them. I am still working through the DVD's but have just returned from work and things are a little hectic catching up with home life after 2 months away. While I was at work though I managed to watch them a couple of times and picked out a few of the more simple tricks to work with for now.

I am currently practicing (along with the odd tryout for colleagues) The Worlds Greatest Card Trick and I'm trying to put together a short ACR to follow it. I'm also trying to get Dr Daley looking smooth. DL's not my strongest point but it's getting there. I have performed Head to Head Poker for somebody that understood the hand rankings and it went down very well. I'll keep this one for poker mates I think.
Oh and I also ordered a pack of blank backs to prepare a Lighter Than A Feather, (love this one) however I was trying to locate the Three Of Hearts Gag card but despite googling it to death I can't seem to find one. Any chance you or anybody else could point me in the right direction or will I have to try making one up?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Shaun.
