The Effect
"ILC" Deck:
You take out a pack of playing cards, spread them out and explain about the history of the tarot. You then go on to explain how standard playing cards can be used in a similar way.
Turn the cards face down, and spread them out on the table. Allow the participant to choose any card (no force).
You spend a few minutes "really driving home that you are about to reveal the true nature of their soul", describing what a few of the playing cards would mean.
Allow them to turn their card over to see what it reveals about them...
and enjoy their reaction!
"1CR":
The One card reaction is a magic trick with no sleight of hand, and no method.
You hand somebody a card, they turn it over, and experience a piece of magic that they will no doubt never experience again.
"Bonus effect":
PK B0llocks - credited to Chris Richards, this is an effect based on PK Touches, but involving that of a genital area...

Review
From the start I want to be honest and say that I purchased this at a discount price of 25% off (so for £15). Nevertheless, money is money so I was hesitant. Then I realised that Lawrence has never guided me wrong before, so took the plunge.
This
Is
Fantastic!!!!!!
Never have I ever come across a gimmicked pack of cards that gets a reaction close to that of the ID. Albeit due to the personal nature of the tarot the individual taking part will have a stronger emotional reaction, but everybody else enjoys the effect just as much.
The ILC deck is not for the serious tarot performer. It uses a standard pack of cards rather than tarot (though, standard tarot could be used but you would need to make up your own - Lawrence provides instructions on how to do so in the manuscript), though what c an be said without a doubt is that the emotional hook, should you wish it to be, is there. The reveal is, in itself, the trick - for me though, it was worth every penny. To see the reaction in the spectator's face is unlike anything before - it reminds me why I got into magic to begin with - it's just magical! This also comes with 6 refills, though I can't see myself needing them anytime soon.
The "1CR" I thought was a brilliant idea. Note that this is not a magic trick, but the
illusion of a magic trick occurring. This was Lawrence's test idea of "removing method from magic", yet still getting the reaction. The instructions are clear and concise, as well as providing the background with relation to how this came about. When I turned over the one card reaction card I thoguht it was, once more, an idea that could only come from Mr Turner. This effect comes with 4 refills, as well as instructions on how to create your own card should you run out (though, the fact that he included "refills" and instructions on how to "make your own" was comedic genius!)
PK b0llocks? Funny, but not really magic...it was more of a joke for the purchaser. Don't buy the deck for this "bonus" - it isn't workable, but it is funny
As an extra, he also included with mine an alternate "1CR" card inside an envelope with a question mark on it. Needless to say, it got a reaction, and there was nobody even about to see it!
Overall
ILC deck = 10/10 without a doubt
1CR version 1 - the "H" card - 5-6/10
1CR version 2 - the "G" card - 5/10
PK B0llocks - 0/10 (though at the same time, very funny! But the rating is based on workability!)
All is all, buy the package for the ILC deck - if you don;t, you will be missing out on a piece of genius. Everything else Lawrence includes is just a bonus. The ILC deck is one of the best ideas I have seen in a good while, and it is one of those effects that you just thing "damn...I wish I had thought of it!!!)
