I was quite worried when I released this (particularly with the high price) that it might be "too much" for people, or that it would go over their heads. Thankfully I've received nothing but praise which I'm very relieved and thankful for!

Well, I have this excellent piece of work twice now and found the techniques within inspirational and can be applied to other concepts that you may have. I have been working on a piece for my seances where a volunteer sees the spirits and captures either their thoughts or images of them.

Midnight Side of the Mind filled in the final piece of the jigsaw I needed to make the routine the best it could be. I am intending to perform this in my December seance.
Visiting the spirit realm and returning with 'proof'? You bet!

I haven't had chance to read much yet - still waiting for that quiet and peaceful couple of hours to devote full attention - but even from a quick preliminary scan through I reckon It's easily worth more than the current price.

Hi guys. On Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) I will be releasing the first of a series of free supplements for Midnight Side of the Mind. If you've been kind enough to purchase a copy you can claim your free supplement by emailing me at sheffieldmagic@hotmail.co.uk and I will email you the PDF on Thursday.

In order to ensure that only genuine customers get this supplement, please answer this question in your email: The lady in the garden is dropping rose petals. What do they turn into?

Simply email me the answer and you will receive your free Midnight supplement. Please email me rather than PM as my PM folder will probably get full and clogged up. No such danger with my email account.

Look forward to hearing from you! :)

PS In case you're wondering, UK privacy laws forbid me from simply mass mailing the supplement to everyone who bought a copy directly from you as I didn't ask if you wanted to opt in to such a service. Plus there are other outlets such as Mystic menagerie and Lybrary where I am not privy to the customer information. The supplement is only available directly from me, but it doesn't matter where you purchased your copy of Midnight from. Just email me the answer to the question and you'll get your copy of the supplement on Thursday.

Great work, Mr V. There will be a comprehensive review of MSOTM in a future Mystic Menagerie to let those who aren't wise of enough to have invested in a copy to know what they are missing. One of, if not THE, releases of the year.

I've played around with an idea like this. Does it involve asking questions about the room to the person receiving the images(color, carpet, posters or no posters etc.)

Not really. The "receiver" actually walks around the room and describes it in their own words. But that's just one small element. The book is far, far more than that one routine.

I have said it once and will say it again ... This is a stunning piece of work that is more than worth the asking price.

I've been thinking about buying this for quite a long time, but I still am not sure for the price and my entry level yet. But there is something that could tip me on the buying side: does this book contain a "suggested reading list" or something similar? I value much more books that can point me to other related good books...

Not in Midnight, other than a list of Paul's other books which are all well worthwhile buying, of course, but there's a reading list in How Host the Perfect Seance which is bundled wih his new one, It’s a G-G-Ghost!
