I have Static and like it, So I was wondering the same as you. I like the delay on Haunted but still wonder if it was better than Static.

There were rumours at Blackpool that an even stronger version if the Haunted Deck plot will be available soon. I cant remember any details at the moment but I do have the inventors card somewhere so I will reveal more when I can.

Mine arrived a while ago now. I do worry how examinable this trick actually is, I mean, even once the gimmick is ditched, if you've done the trick more than once, the "stuff" can be in small amounts throughout the pack, and make the handling of some cards, let's just say a little "stiff". I hope everyone who owns it knows what I mean. I haven't mastered it at all yet, and probably won't as my two gimmicks have broken, and since I have virtually zero DIY skills, I don't know how to make a new one, any advice?

Out of curiosity, does everyone prefer the routine where the gimmick isn't already loaded? I find loading the gimmick fairly easy (not very easy though), but I find ditching the gimmick a real pain, because it's hard to "line up" the gimmick with what you're trying to ditch it onto (I hope I haven't given away too much there). I was just wondering what everyone's favourite performance of Haunted was with regards to ditching and loading the gimmick.

Also, back to the "stuff", I mentioned that I have increments throughout my deck, is there any advisable way to "clean it out".

Just one more question, can the stickers (the ones you cut in half) be bought separately? It's just that the one on my pack is torn a bit (which obviously makes it look different to the gimmick).

I would just to say though, that despite my questions and the fact I can't currently work on the effect due to not having a working gimmick, the trick is well worth the effort to get it right, in fact, it's amazing. I hope I haven't sounded too pessimistic about it, because it's actually a fantastic trick, and I'm extremely pleased a bought it. I think I've just been a tad unlucky with the gimmicks and am being a little too picky about minor things. But hey, I can't wait till I sort out the gimmicks and can spend a while perfecting this, as with practice it's not actually that difficult and it looks like a miracle has occurred.

If you PM me your phone number I'll talk you through what you need to know.

The effect is good you just need to understand everything to make it work, I use this all the time.

I'm holding a workshop on Haunted at the Leamington day of Magic on 20th June if you can make it.

Not too sure what you're on about to be honest.
When you buy this - you're supplied with enough "stuff" to make some replacement gimmicks. Plus, the DVD gives a full description on how to make the gimmick. PM me if you need any help, as I'm not too sure what the problem is  .

Just to resurrect this topic. Is haunted still the best in this field?

I doubt it as Haunted 2.0 has just come out. I didn't think Haunted was the best anyway but that's just me.

Sorry I'm slightly late for this topic. For me 'Haunted' is probably the best in the field. Haunted 2.0 is out in a couple of weeks I've been told.
Although if purchased before this you should get the new handling notes inside the DVD package.
I've also been informed that the gimmick has been reviewed and improved, and the item used on the gimmick will be more durable.

source of info comes from Mark Traversoni at paulharrispresents.co.uk

Just my 2 pennies worth.

Hope this helps

Hi Dazlogic

I'm really pleased you like Haunted, I have used many methods over the years and now only use Haunted 2.0, the pack moving on its own with me far away gets great reactions.

The instructions included with the original DVD are for the bonus handling but not for Haunted 2.0 which is a complete evolution of the original with new materials, gimmicks, handlings etc.

Although similar in look the actual gimmicks and materials are all new.

The release date is due very soon.

Just to resurrect an old thread - just got back from Tenerife last night. Of course I took my trusty pack of cards and I have a compartment containing extra gimmick cards, etc.
I found the haunted gimmick (which hasn't been used in AGES) and was amazed to find it still worked perfectly.
Well away I went, performing this sat at the bar and reactions were great. I must have got about 20 performances out of this before the orange stuff ran out - the cards now cut themselves almost immediately so I need to apply some more orange stuff.
Anyway, I just wanted to remind people how good this trick is. If you've got it, dig it out and get using it .... and if you haven't - why not ??
