Given Name: Not applicable to this situation.
Names I Answer to: Zarius Corten; Scruffy
Origins: American (currently New Mexico state. More than that, not needed), genetic heritage from a large portion of European countries
Magical inclinations: I use magic on an instinctive level, and have never been trained in any way, shape or form. I can duplicate nearly any type of energy, though a specific person's energy signature is beyond my current skills. So far as specific talents are concerned, I am the magical equivalent of either a nuclear power plant or a nuclear bomb, depending on your view of the skill. I can draw on enormous amounts of raw power, and, given time, can produce large stores of raw power with no source other than myself.
Magical specialties: In order from greatest talent to least talent: Shield creation, curse breaking, shield breaking, and curse making.
Magical generalities: If it requires an amount of skill, I can probable compensate with raw power and determination, much like filling a glass by spraying a fire hose against the wall above the glass. If it requires nothing more than enormous amounts of power, you've nailed something I can do.
Current projects: Accruing more in the way of magical finesse. Also, attempting to find a way to harness the solar eclipse as a power source for more than just the duration of the solar eclipse.
Other skills: If I set my mind to it, and I have anything resembling 'the right tools', or even 'close enough to the right tools', I can make just about anything.
Other
Currently, I am 26 years of age. I have been 'practicing' magic (meaning intentionally performing it) since I was about 12, and been actually performing (unintentionally) for as long as I can remember. As mention, I perform it on an instinctive level, rather than a practiced one. When I intentionally perform a working of magic, I modify based off my mood, the mood of my target (whether victim or beneficiary), ambient feelings, and simply what the spell feels like I should do to it. I have had precisely zero spells go wrong thus far, though I have had a few simply fail to work on any level. Better than unintended results, I believe. When working with magic, I do nothing more or less than my best to cause what either I or my client (on the rare occasions I use my talents on behalf of others) desire, rather than trying to cause a specific effect. This has seemed to be a pass-fail system, and thus extremely effective, as I have a habit of not causing unintended results. I also find muse and occasional inspiration in a bottle. Usually vodka.
