My wife saw it and for once from one who dislikes illusions ( she likes the Close Up stuff) she liked it!!
But she does not recall the magician putting 3 long panes of glass and 2 steel blades through the box, after the sawing.
This was part of the ORIGINAL Selbit presentation
Various magicians have presented their idea of Selbit's version of Sawing but always omit the panes of glass & steel blades.
Without these it is not really the FULL Selbit version.
From memory-- and I may be wrong-- when Paul Daniels performed it he DID put, if not glass, long sheets of wood through the box.
