Paul Voodini is one of those performers who brings real mystery to mystery performance (something that although sounds funny, it´s quite forgotten).
He recently release a short eBook in which we,humans, can learn a new simple and fun reading system using coins.

My opinion:
16 page eBook, simple layout, a brief introduction, the necessary information and some aditional ideas.
The image that your participant see is this: 3 coins are used to interpret 3 main categories in his life.
Very simple and intuitive steps and great moments of mystery entertainment.
Positive and insighful moments of conversation are possible with this anytime,anywhere option.

For the price, you just cant go wrong. A great new possibility from a serious author and performer.

I need to start by saying that I’m hugely disappointed with this PDF from that master of the Dark Arts who is Paul Voodini. There’s two reasons for that, the price and the quality. This PDF is far too good to be offered at such a low price.

3 Coins for Your Thoughts is a reading system that uses three coins (I bet you didn’t see that coming did you?) to give a reading on three areas of the sitter’s life, romance, money and friends and family. Any readers out there are probably thinking to themselves (as I did), that this is going to be a variation on the I-Ching. It’s not, it uses a very different and very original system (there’s no need to worry about heads or tails here).

This is a brilliant system that you could use to give a quick or a detailed reading, whatever suited your situation at the time and the beauty about it is that there’s no need to carry around any pendulums, tarot cards, runes or anything else that might get you funny looks when the club bouncers decide to search your bag (try explaining that little velvet bag of various crystals and stones that you’re carrying on a Friday night). All you’re going to need are three coins. Paul talks about using modern coins when giving readings but I’m very interested to try it out using some old Victorian coins instead, just to add that little extra atmosphere but of course, that’s just me and there’s no need to do the same.

The reading itself is structured into four different phases and is incredibly easy to learn and understand. There’s no need to have any knowledge of numerology or astrology and there’re no complicated meanings, sequences or spreads to learn. Interpretation of the coins is about as simple as it gets, I’d even be confident to say that I could have gone out and given a reading using 3 Coins immediately after reading the PDF.

Although I keep on about how simple the system is, it in no way means that the readings you’ll be giving using are going to be in any way shallow. You’ll be able to put just about as much depth and detail into a reading using Paul’s system as you could with any system out there.

Paul’s teaching is alway top-notch. Many texts about reading can come across quite dull and dry, not so with 3 Coins 4 Your Thoughts. Paul explains his system in a clear and entertaining way and had me hooked from cover to cover.

Value 10/10

It costs £1.25!!!!!! I’d happily pay ten or twenty times the cover price for it.

A brilliant idea from Mr Voodini that is sure to be something that I’m going to use again and again and it costs les than a vodka and coke.

Love it. So simple. Will road test it tomorrow night.

Ideally best for one-on-one situations as it is not repeatable for others in a group. Once they are aware of the possible interpretations they will influence the outcome.

Perhaps I can adapt it for two people simultaneously ? Perhaps three different male/female traits. I'll have a think about that.

Its a great system for the price and nice to have as a fall back in your arsenal. Coins are almost always available. I'm been using this with the blessing as detailed in Pure Q&A. The spectator using a coin as the object to go in the envelope.
