Lulu help

Postby themagicwand » Feb 29th, '12, 10:59

Hello! I'm asking this question here because I know quite a few members use Lulu to publish work.

I'm just setting up an account and am entering my preferred method of being paid royalties (which is PayPal). At the bottom of this page it asks for tax details and asks for a set of numbers that seem to make no sense as a UK tax payer (they appear to be US tax numbers). Should I just ignore this section or what?

Many thanks for your time kind peeps!

I think those numbers are specific to the US. I just ignored them when I setup my account.

Ignore.
It's not for UK use, you'd have to put your Lulu takings on your declarations yourself

And remember, you get paid on or about 15th to the end of the previous month. It took me a while to realise that.

I too have a Lulu question;

Do eBooks need to be created as a separate entity i.e. there is no way to have buy printed/buy ebook on the same listing page?

You used to be able to but now I think they need to be two seperate things.

Aye - I made a separate ebook for Choked. To be honest, you ought to do that anyway, because there are different formatting considerations for a print book and an ebook - blank pages serve a purpose in a dead tree book, but are redundant in an ebook.
