Killer Mentalism Manuscript

Postby aCeOfSpAdEs » May 15th, '12, 21:01

Two days ago, I was searching for mentalism books and I found a "manuscript" (as they call it) named Killer Mentalism.
What do you think about this?
Link: http://www.killermentalism.com/ :D

One last question: There is a trick there called "Time To Change"... I've seen some magicians/mentalists applying that method...
Is it something new or can I find it anywhere else?

Thanks a lot... :)

I personally wouldn't bother with that. If you're interested in mentalism then I'd suggest getting yourself a copy of Karl Fulves Self Working Mental Magic and then Corinda's 13 Steps or Annemann's Practical Mental Magic

Gregory Wilson put this out just recently http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/2668" target="_blank

As to the Killer Mentalism thing, I would stay away for sure. It seems way too sketchy and it seems that it wants to prove that it is more than it really is. I don't like the look of those E-book websites that promise you "guarded information".

Hey there. I've already read those. Corinda's and Annemann's :) Thanks anyway...
That certain trick seems to me amazing (Time to Change)... I was just wondering what method it would be... :)

Two years ago, a friend of mine lent me "Corinda's 13 steps to mentalism". It was my first contact with mentalism... :)
After that I've read Derren Brown's books, "3510" by Luke Jermay, "Practical Mental Magic", etc. :D

Being a sometime mind reader, I know that Tomo was wondering why you did not know the method for Time for Change. It's one of the most common uses for one of the 13 steps.

Anyway, I also think you should steer clear of that manuscript. I am afraid that it sounds like yet another person who is reusing old methods (and not even with new presentations) and, I suspect, ripping off the creators of more recent things. It sounds suspiciously like a rebranded version of one of those "Do Derren Brown's tricks" e-books that were very popular a few years back. Some of the efects will be good, but if you want to learn them, your money should go to the originators (or on the classic books).

Ahhh... xD Thank you very much!
Now that you've mentioned it, I've given a quick look in my Corinda's book... and that's it. I've found the method. :D

If you've got Corinda and Annemann then you've got just about all that you're going to need. Instead of buying more, I'd really suggest giving each of those another read. I always find something new in there whenever I do.
