New but old!

Postby AJ82 » Jul 21st, '12, 15:36

Hi everyone!

I first joined this forum 6 years ago! I was a very active poster for a while then due to various things in life drifted off, came back, drifted off and now I am back again.

I hang my head in shame and have to confess that I am very out-of-touch with magic right now and the only things I have done for about a year or just over is have a deck or two on the table and have a fiddle most days so I can do all my 'old' stuff but have not attempted or built on my skills for well over a year! But in a recent house move / sort out I found a old case full of bits I had been missing, gaffs, caj decks and about 20+ small envelopes I had made tricks up in so since about 8.30am I have been going through it all and really realised how much I missed it (and this place) so I am back!

I hope my lack of contribution and limited practice doesn't mean those who don't know me think I do not have a genuine interest or respect for magic because, I do.

Being a bit 'behind the times' with what's going on re magic (both on and off this forum) my posts will not be massive or lots till I have caught up but I will be here and contributing as much as I can. As well as stocking up on some much needed essentials that have become damaged or lost in the move / clear-out but shopping is not something I am complaining about! But I'll do another post about shopping in a minute.

Its nice to be back. Hi to everyone new and old.

Whoops forgot to add a bit about me! Age 30, female answers to Alex and many other things! Lives in Dorset and for the first time in weeks its sunny! :)

LOL I remember that! The fun it gave us at silly-O'clock.

Just found the thread, 158 pages. Oh the memories!

Yes pass a cake C.U.P.S. could well hit me hard by the end of tonight. 3 websites open and "window shopping". I forgot how amazing this place (and you guys are). Really made me laugh remembering cup cakes and CUPS.
