i recently obtained a set of 3 videos BUT they are in NSTC format.. does anyone have the facility to change them to VHS or DVD? any help appreciated

Most new-ish video recorders/players are dual format NTSC/PAL so ought to play US tapes OK. When I say new-ish, I mean in the last 5 years at least and, the last time I went there, the cheapo under £50 models at Comet had this feature.
