New year's predictions for 2013

Postby kevmundo » Dec 19th, '12, 14:24

I found this one for 2011 - ftopic37749.php some of which has come true. But, Margaret Thatcher remains immortal.

My predictions for 2013 are as follows:

I know it's morbid but Maggie Thatcher and the Duke of Edinburgh are going to shuffle off this mortal coil in 2013, and will be found chatting to Jonathan Edwards on 'Crossing Over' in a UK celebrity special.

Kevmundo will spend the national debt of Greece on magic and will be left with a ceaseless hollow feeling of inexorable disappointment.

Someone will release a magic trick and completely misrepresent what it does/how it works in their promo vid. You will buy it and will feel extremely angry. However, this salutary reminder of your unique gullibility will not prevent you from repeating your mistake come next payday.

The poor will remain poor and everything will still somehow remain everyone else's fault.

That's all I have!

Let me know your's - if you dare - Muhahahaha (evil laugh of prescience) Muhahahaha... Muhahahahah!!!

K

Will spend a cosy evening with Angelina Jolie, and maybe get to show her some magic, with my wand  huh! And then, wake up the next morning and realise, how lucky I was.. Finally making a quick visit to my newsagent and buy a paper, and also buy a few lottery tickets, and you guessed it!! Win myself the prize of £6.5 million. And seriousally would open up a bricks and mortar magic shop somewhere in the peaks, were I live..

Here are mine.

1.The will be several major outbreaks of public disorder.

2. The coalition government will break at the tail end of 2013 as the new lib dem leader tries to distance themselves from the mess.

3. With the end of the 'war' in Afghanistan, a new battle against a major power will come terribly close to a major war.

4. Prince Harry will get engaged.

5. HRH or Prince Phillip will sadly come to pass.

6. There will be a massive discovery of an alien planet.

Well that's about all I'm thinking at the moment. Looking forward to next year when I can see how we all did! :D

I may have been born yesterday but I stayed up all night.

As the 60th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation is June 2013, I predict the media will probably mention it - a few times...

I also predict there will be a royal birth....

There will be further scandals involving politicians....

The Jimmy Saville thing will gather even more momentum....

Derren Brown will have a successful stage tour but his TV show(s) will only receive a luke warm reception from magicians....

Dynamo will feature in a third series of Magician Impossible....

I will promise faithfully to practice stuff and get to a very high professional standard - but will fail miserably...

I will buy a baguette at Gregg's in Blackpool...

The world will not end on 21/12/12 but, in the UK anyway, there will only be a short amount of daylight....

I will promise faithfully to cut down on G&Ts but will, again, fail miserably.....
