Just got this effect today & I must say I'm totally pi**ed of with the way JBTV have presented this, almost to the point of I may complain...

"You get a wallet & inside the wallet is a prediction in an envelope, this is left in clear view at all times" they say on their video demo. This is a total lie, the instructions tell you to show the wallet & the envelope inside & then to close it up & leave it on the table. You would be pushing it majorly to leave the wallet open displaying the envelope.

For anyone considering this, yes the effect looks great but be warned there is memory work involved, can't really explain how but there's kinda two lots of memory work. If your good with that then fine. JBTV presented this as the simplist option which isn't gonna happen everytime.

I'm not knocking the affect, its a good one, but I wish it had been presented honestly by JBTV & I shan't be judging anything by their video demos any more.

Yours angrily.

Its a great trick, worth practising and I used Future Zone for most of my gigs until that is I saw Nick Einhorn demonstrate the Wowallet at Banbury last year. As far as the spec is concerned the result with the Wowallet is the same but with the Wowallet you end up with a clean deck that you can hand out to a spec, use to go straight into an ambitious card routine or whatever.

I remember looking at the wowallet yonks ago but I passed it over for the stealth assasin at the time.

Time for a rethink me thinks. Unfortunatly there's no review here for the wallet so I did a search for some reviews on google & hit the images button by mistake & came upon a pic which revealed exactly what this wallet does. Bit silly of cardsformagic here.

I like it though, a questions if I may, can you really table the wallet & feel secure & warm inside & not worry about it?

Definatly getting this now, gonna have a hunt for the best price around.

Sorry - I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to say thank you. I have become slightly obsessed with the variations on thought of/selected card as only one in wallet/envelope etc idea recently, and have contemplated buying various different ones. But this thread pointed me back to a book sitting on my shelf - Al Koran's Legacy - which has given me further food for thought and held of the CUPS for the moment!

If this works as I am 99.99% sure it does, the deck can be "shown" but not examined - as for using it for different effects, possibly, like an ACR etc, but again, not for effects that will involve the specs seeing the spread face of the deck or randomly selecting many cards as you may blow your prediction effect in the process!

I don't want to go into anymore detail here about it but I am afraid people are going to pick up on this. Maybe it just seems obvious to me because I know how it's done. But I'm afraid people will notice. That's why I show it and hold it right in front of them. I'm concealing the trick better that way but I agree it's takes something away from it.

What do you think?

The trick is very strong if it is performed with the wallet on the table and opened up showing the envelope. It's easy to do and it blows people away.
