Hello from the Great American Desert

Postby corvus » Mar 4th, '13, 11:11

Hello from the land of infinite horizon.

By way of introduction I hope these notes are of interest.

I take comfort in the knowledge I am part of a secret lineage stretching back thousands of years. I hold a great passion for the history of magic, of the great stage performers to the parlor mediums.

My first exposure to something magical may have been seeing a physics demonstration in grade two. It mystified me and I wanted to know why. I began by looking past the sheen of presentation and learned the principles of magic were played out all around me.

Magic intersected with so many other fields that engaged my interest it was impossible to ignore. It tested the frontiers of perception, and still does.

Yes, I practiced and and demonstrated, and collected the trappings of the art.

I love to tell a story. For me, the arena of bizarre magick is a favorite place to be right now.

Magic is a palette of infinite color. I love it!

hmmm, not too worried about the beer but there's a farm not to far away that makes some lovely cider and a local vineyard whose wines are supurb.
