(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Either a 1 or a 2, this really depends on whether you have magicians guilt or balls of steel.

Review: (What I say)

I am a big fan of Anthony's work and own everything that he has released to date. I enjoy his thinking and his to the point delivery. You will not find any superfluous word padding in his work, which can be so prominent in the meanderings of other artist in our field.

This has been described elsewhere as a marmite effect, either you will love it or hate it. I hate marmite but love this. It is Bold, I mean really bold! But, if you have the balls to try it out then the most difficult part of the effect will be keeping the stupid grin off of your face.

I was hoping to road test this on my partner when I got in from work. Unfortunately she has gone to bed for the evening with bird-flu, so I'll have to try it out over the weekend. When I have given it a whirl I will post with how I got on.

The Verdict:

I'll hold back on marks out of 10 until I get to try this out. Having said that, I am confident that this will play strong and this is in my opinion well worth the pound that I spent on it.

Well, I've just had a good read of this, an have to say that it really is a very nice piece of beautiful mental theatre, with a really powerful climax.

Not only that, but the method is very easily transferable, and I can already see several other uses which, for the asking price, makes this a no-brainier purchase (I do think Anthony may be selling himself a little short here, so I'd recommend grabbing a copy, before he realises! :wink:

)

As has already been mentioned, not everyone will put this to use - it really does need to be performed, to see the real power behind the effect. It's worth mentioning, also, that this is a one-to-one (or one-to-two, max) effect, so not one for a crowd or group situation.

I disagree that this is a 'love it, or hate it effect' - I'm sure every owner will be able to see the potential of this; again, though, there will be some who simply won't want to use it. Don't let any comments regarding needing boldness put you off; so long as you're confident with audience management, you'll have no issues here, and the required jiggery-pokery will be a guilty joy to pull off, each and every performance (Innuendo Bingo ahoy!)

Is it cheeky? Without a doubt. Will that detract from it's impact upon your spec? Not a bit of it!

Definitively a recommended purchase.

I don't usually care much for ACAAN routines but for the princely sum of one of Her Majesty's pounds I thought it worth a try. This isn't something that you'll be able to perform for a group or on stage, it's purely a one on one piece of wonderment. For that very reason, this isn't something that I can't see myself using too often but the thinking behind the routine is very good indeed and the potential is very much there.

There's very little of worth that can be got for a single Queen's head these but this is one of them.
