Hello everyone, I have been on this site for some time browsing tips, and it's really fantastic discussion board I believe. Today I joined to ask some questions.

I'd also say (and I'm sure Mandrake can put me straight on this) but you can't PM anyone until you've made 5 posts. I think it's 5? I only mention it because every so often I get a desperate PM from someone who isn't a member of TM, has read one of my posts and wants to ask a question. They then join and PM me. I don't actually get the PM but I get an E-mail telling me I've got one with the persons frustrated question. Unfortunately I have no way of replying to them - at least that's what I've found??? They then probably think I'm an ignorant so and so.

My advice is therefore to post a few times and reap the benefits!!

K ;)

Spot on Kev, 5 posts minimum before the PM facility kicks in and also the same number of posts before newcomers can post without needing Mod's approval. Both are designed to filter out spam and other distasteful stuff doing the rounds.
