Newbie here, wants to learn alot and stuff

Postby Thratorn » Apr 16th, '13, 00:10

Recently got into learning magic after seeing some stuff on youtube and downloading an ipod app, now I'm loving doing it but still practicing before showing anyone haha hoping these forums will help.

I'm also looking for somewhere to buy a magnetic ring? That I can always wear I live in the UK I heard if its too strong it can mess like your phone/card etc up?

Thanks

Welcome to TM. If the quest for knowledge is your goal then you're in the right place. If a quick fix is your desire then you'll end up sorely disappointed!! Take part in the forums and start chatting to other magicians. You'll make new friends and learn more than you'd ever believe. Of course - you could do what most people do and make one post and then disappear. If you do do that, you'll be missing out. I hope you stay and contribute!!

Hiya thrathorn. Kev hit the nail on the head there. Basically you need to prove your worthiness firstly by making, I think 10 posts ? And then you can hopefully open up a few more options on the site.. Anyway there are lots of people on this forum with years of experience to guide you along the great path of magic.. Good luck with your new venture. 8) 8)

Hiya and welcome along to TM. A word of warning, I'd avoid tutorials on YouTube if I were you, they're usually badly filmed and badly taught. If you're serious about learning magic then Mark Wilson's Complete Course is a great book to get you started and it's a very reasonable price.
