Sorry if I excited anyone by the title, I'm not *that* kind of performer.
I've been working at a Cabaret bar for the past few months, doing magic before dinner and the show starts.
I was planning on being able to use most of my table stuff I've developed so far, but quickly discovered that we often host groups of10-15 people, on one long table, meaning most close up stuff is often ruled out and since there isn't much room on the tables anyway, I can't use the table for any tricks.
So far, I've been doing quite well with my rope routine and a few other card things.
HOWEVER, we are heading into repeat bookings and I obviously don't want to be showing the same things over and over again.
I have looked over the previous posts, but it is hard to figure out exactly which parts of stage/street/table trick discussions fit in what I need.
So,
-visual (sometimes the place can be quite loud)
-Do not need to use a table
-can be performed to what is essentially two rows of 5-7 people.
Cheers,
Conor
