I have known a few people that have used magic to help them along the way.. I think its a great confidence builder, and nice DE-stress remedy.. So if your enjoying your magic, just crack on, and try and brush your recent problems under the carpet. Hopefully as time goes by, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes more clearer.. :)

I agree with mr invisible, when I do a successful trick it makes me have a fire in the heart to do more.

Hi and welcome.

Interesting points being brought up here. I didn't get in to magic to boost my confidence but I have discovered that it is a welcome by product of performing. I am terminally shy. I am the one standing alone in the kitchen at parties. But I can approach a table full of strangers in a Restaurant, introduce myself and do a whole set of tricks, I don't even crash if i make a mistake. Funny old world isn't it?
