Blessings on thee, little man
Barefoot Boy with cheeks of tan...
Outward sunshine; Inward joy,
Blessings on thee, Barefoot Boy!

It is not a set up. I have seen Paul do this many times. He uses a little known technique in mentalism known as the Onion Method.

Very cool. Can you point a source to the onion method?

I am not sure it would be fair to Paul for me to expose his method. In actual fact he uses it extensively and not just for mentalism. He has a variation which is actually his main method of marketing his services. In a moment of weakness he did reveal his method on the Magic Cafe. I shall say no more as I think I have given enough clues already.
