Another 13-year-old!

Nice trick, but it goes on a bit too long for what it does (IMHO). You also hesitate before the sleights, and the one where you take the second card is a bit too much...why not try a DL by rearranging the trick a bit? Have a look at http://www.katriel.co.uk/Transpo.wmv for a stripped-down video of this trick that I just made o_0. Don't worry, mine's not perfect by a long shot.

You should probably also learn some basic sleights (DL, fan, cull maybe), and for this I highly recommend Oz's Born To Perform Card Magic. You can get it from Penguin for $30 (about £15). I own it, and it's probably been the one thing that made me want to be a cardician. You learn everything from pinkie breaks to trinary cuts to the classic pass. You also get 4 routines: a tranposition like this one, a two card monte, an ambitious card, and the Biddle trick (card jumps to the middle of the pack face up). Everything is taught clearly and concisely.

unfortunatly, getting books or props of the net is not goning to happen, my dad dosnt like ordering on the net, as he thinks he'll get ripped off, and no matter how much i try to convience him otherwise, its not going to happen, but for now ill try and get along with what i can learn here!

Edit: Wow ur 13? u can do tricks that i can never even dream of, man i need to start working harder... :D

That's quite odd, actually. I would say that ordering on the net is at least a safe as ordering in real life, as long as you order from a good store (i.e. almost all stores).

You might be able to get Born To Perform at a local magic store, if you have one...

You should see some tricks that I've seen.

The ones I do are actually much easier than they look :D. Give a week or two practice, and I bet you could do them too!

I think I can give you some instructions for them...which do you like most?

I'll PM you...

Where do you live, by the way?

And do you want the instructions for any of the tricks that I have done?

Does he not like doing business with companies on the net, or just that he doesn't like making transactions on the net (my dad similar, its just lucky I'm not 13, and have my own credit card!)?
The reason I asked is that you could always give one of the stores a call, such as alakazam/penguinmagic/emagictricks etc, and ask them to send a catalogue or just order over the phone. Your old man will never know any better.

Surf around on the site for things you want, note them, then call:

Order by Phone (UK)
0800 085 5146

to order.

oops...sorry :D

Penguin

You'll have to choose if you want to order from there. It's about half the price of UK shops, but a lot of magicians have issues with it as it has had(and has now) problems with copying other people's work. It also stocks Magic Makers' items, which are notorious for being copies.

I use it only because I can't afford to pay double the price for my magic items. If I could, I wouldn't order there.
