Here we go again.......

Are you having a laugh, I haven't touched the complimentary tea bag in my B & B yet!

Have used my teabag twice already and will save it for use in 2015!

I didn't see any registration forms for next year - were they giving them out anywhere? And did anyone pick one up that they could scan for me?

2 years ago I got mine on the seat at the gala show, and last year it was in the registration pack with the programme, "free book" and lanyard. But I didn't see any (and forgot to ask at the registration desk on the way past)

I asked at Reception and handed it to Arthur Casson! If you email Arthur he should be able to send you a form.

Last Wednesday it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn't received any tickets or letter for the Convention so I phoned Arthur Casson who confirmed that all had been sent out a while ago. Apparently the BMC are emailing the letter of confirmation which needs to be printed and taken to collect the tickets at Registration. Arthur swiftly remailed the letter so I'm sorted but if anyone else hasn't received anything then a call to Arthur will resolve things pronto. I assume that if an email address isn't given there you should get the letter in the post.

Sadly going to give it a miss next year.. Sadly getting waaaaaay to expensive every year. Not sure about anybody else, but on most occasions i spend a average £ 500-700.. The hardest bit is explaining to the wife on Monday morning.

Well it's my 40th this year so I'm gonna try to engineer a weekend away in Blackpool for next years convention as a late birthday gift....with the wife, of course!!

Either that or I'm going to be abducted by aliens!!!

If the aliens do get you, just don't show them any card tricks.. They hate them.

FISM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2017

BLACKPOOL MAGICIANS CLUB have once again been chosen to host the FISM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2017 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. The BMC successfully launched the very first FISM European Championships in 2011 and we are delighted to have been chosen once again.
Blackpool Magicians Club have donated the sum of £1,000 to help in the recovery of SIMON LOVELL's health.
BLACKPOOL MAGICIANS CLUB'S NEW HEADQUARTERS

Blackpool Magicians Club Ltd., are delighted to announce that they are in the process of purchasing their own super premises in the centre of Blackpool. Over the next few months the building will be transformed into a Magic Theatre, a Magic Library, a Magic Shop, a Magic Museum, a Close-Up Room, a Committee Room, a Television/Video Room, a Catering Facility and a Bar Area. Apart from hosting Lectures by international magicians, a School of Magic will be created along with other innovations.

Buying this building represents a major investment in the future of Blackpool Magicians Club and the Blackpool Magicians Convention and it is hoped that many of our registrants will be able to visit the headquarters in the future.
