The Effect

They say "A killer, self-working packet trick .. A mind blowing display of magic awesomeness .. Funny, commercial, engaging and insane FUN .. plays HUGE!" from here: http://www.bigblindmedia.com/nothing-bu ... ket-trick/

I'll translate: A spectator picks a card and the magician's 'lie detector cards' help divine the identity. As a kicker finish they are revealed to have changed into the selection themselves.

Cost - £15.99

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

1-3 Benefits from the *lmsl*y Co*nt but has instructions on DVD for avoiding that. Uses your favourite f*rce or the one on the DVD.

Review

I've never yet hospitalised or killed a spectator, so maybe there's something wrong with my presentation of these "killer" or "brain frying" effects.

Anyway, this is a fun little packet trick that has amused all the people I've shown it to so far. The central concept is humourous, the instructions clear and it's over quickly - an attribute overlooked sometimes.

I could see this fitting in between more serious tricks as an aside. It's a cool, cute and easy-to-do quick trick.

Overall

I'm pleased I got it, and will be putting it in my little 'packet tricks' wallet to keep hold of it. I'd say about 8/10. It's quite good value for the lie-detector cards and the DVD, which as usual has no subtitles.
