I haven't really tried this out and about - only tested a small piece of it before reading reviews and becoming suspicious etc.

It would all depend on how long the substance lasts for, and how it can be stored. If you could use a small tin, prepare the stuff on the inside of the tin lid then keep that in your pocket and use it for the next 2 hours, then it's very useable indeed. If it only lasts for 10 minutes, that's not great, although it is feasible to nip somewhere like the loo and prepare before each table/group performance.

You can keep it in a small metal box, anything really, so the transportability is not a problem.

isnt that same with Mystic Smoke by SS Adams?

If yes then I think its really wasted to get for £12 while it only worths less than £2.

Hi All,

Is this the same as Hells smoke from Panda Magic - I haven't found any reference to Panda Magic on these pages and cannot find little smoke on the website!

thanks

Andy

I don't know how much I should reveal, but there is another way of making smoke appear from your fingers. Actually its the same thing as Hells Smoke, but you can learn to actually make the stuff from readily (and cheaply) available items. So instead of paying for 20 little strips, you can make it whenever you want. Again, it reacts the same as the original post's description.

Yep. I published an article several years back that explains how to do this with, as Nagavansham points out, something that is available to everyone, everywhere for a very, very small sum (and, if you go into a posh restaurant, you might even find it for free as a promotional item that they give away).

If you're buying this from a supplier, you are getting ripped off. Plainly put. Full stop. It is an old principle. But, that's the mantra of the day, isn't it? Find something old, repackage it and sell it to the magic community - hell, they'll buy anything. Or, as George Carlin puts it, "Nail two things together that have never been nailed together before and some schmuck will buy it."

The article was published in Top Hat and those issues are still readily available for download absolutely free.

Mike.
