The 100th Monkey by Chris Philpott

Firstly, I am sorry fi this is already somewhere on here, but I cant seem to find it.

Secondly, if you haven't already seen this, then you are in for a treat, it is an absolutely brilliant effect (well, effects, 3+ of them and still more ideas coming in, Chris sends out updates when they are available) and I am so happy that I have got a copy, I'm not going to go into any detail about any of the effects, I think you should Youtube it or Google it if you are interested, but suffice to say that it is a fantastic method and so much fun to play around with, if you are a magician, self confessed mentalist or mind magician you will have a lot to use this for.

My question to you all is more of a curiosity one posed to those of you who already own this, I have been looking into getting the 'Speechless' words printed up on some nice postcard sized cardstock, and whilst copying the words to a memory stick I noticed that not all the words have a 'normal' version (those who have this will understand) and I was wondering if this was something you had noticed too or maybe there is just something wrong with my copy (they are all on disc 2) there are 'normal' versions for PC and Phone, but I need them for physical cards to show to spectators and without all of the possible 'normal' cards, it kind of feels like its not a full set!!

I have contacted Chris Philpott to ask the same, but have not had any reply yet.

I have not included any write up of the effects, they can be found in a ton of places already and I don't want to be just pasting the Ad copy, and I have not submitted any review, however if anyone would like one I will try my best to give it a thorough review, but it really is a brilliant method (not entirely new, but definitely re-worked and improved upon) and the effect it has on the audience/volunteer/spectators is just incredible and well worth your money, a really great way to secure bookings and just mind blowing for the people watching, they will even be amazed when watching back any video they have taken of you performing the effect, talk about getting mileage out of an effect even after you are gone, maybe even months later!!

Ben.

Ben, I can't answer your questions as I don't have this... But I have a couple of my own...

This looks great! But really... is it £65's worth of great??? (Especially as, from what you've said, you have to get other stuff printed out...)

Pocket space and reset time... how does this stand???

Ill do a review later today.

This is immense. The speechless edge is great. You can perform out of the box , the artwork jpegs etc are if you need more or wit want to get it printed on different sizes like business cards or posters.

People find it funny. I did it yesterday on my manager at work in a training session. The whole office of 25 people were looking at the word while my manager was and it's funny to see him struggle to read the word when everyone else is looking at the same time

I used it when he said he couldn't be hypnotized after I did hypnosis on a couple of people at work. Used speechless and it was great, then used that to lead into actual hypnosis which went down a storm

I haven't tried the other 2 effects but I think speechless is worth the price as an effect on its own (with the DVD written instructions and the many jpegs.

It is really strong and no matter how Mich people talk they never come close to the method (which surprises me as it looks obvious to me) they seem to arrive at weird and wonderful conclusions most of which I'd be happy to accept as plausible methods
