It was my first shot at filming a trick, I could have spent ages getting a perfect one but dont have the time and if i was showing someone the trick i wouldnt get that chance!!

I couldn't view it using the interface in putfile.com but I had a look in the source code of the page and found a link to a "x200.putfile.com/.../__.avi" - so just load the source, search for avi, and copy and paste the link to the browser.

I think it was a codec issue, I've converted to mpg and added a little bit off silly music....

Thanks for posting a second version - it's such a nice effect which is so simple. I couldn't watch the original either, despite trying several tricks to get it to play.

I never had any interest in rubber band effects until a couple of weeks ago when I saw a clip of this effect. I'm glad that I made the effort to learn it.

has any one got any other elastic band clips they could post, i would love to see a linking bands routine or a brokan restored trick...

I have watched you do this a few times and I am not saying you did the trick badly and I am trying not to be too critical here but I don't personally do it like you do it....I do it slightly differently and I sometimes do it more than once or twice when I am asked, even on their fingers etc.....I have never been caught....

I've been told by my magic friends that I do this trick very well......
I am not trying to boast, just want to help if you would like me too, if not and you think you do this trick as good as you want to achieve it, then that's ok....just thought I could maybe offer some help.

I don't do it much different from you but I just think that you have to be a few moves ahead of the audience and have done the move way ahead of them......when they are looking for you to do a move you will have already done it.....Just my opinion!

I can view the file o that's one question answered.

In my opinion it' not one of the best tricks to film and it's far more visual when watched 'live'

I read details of the effect in "The Magic of Michael Ammar" and found it difficult to learn. However, with the written routine and a series of video clips from various sites, I've managed to perform it. I'm interested to know what modifications you do when performing the effect. I know of the phases and the need to "prove" the effect. If you don't feel able to answer on the forum (because of exposure), can you PM me?

It's good, but I think you recorded this in the wrong angle.... The effect doesn't apply in this angle, as it does looking at it from the front...
