This is one of my favourite tricks, and it's "pretty impromptu".

Jazz Aces

Hope you like it.

Thanks for all your comments. With some basic knowledge of card handling, routines and moves, you should be able to work it out. The nice thing about the trick, is that it is pretty impromptu. Thanks again.

I like it. I also do this. I'm beginning to sound a bit reptitious. I guess my taste card effects is alot like yours. I do Jazz Aces using the 9's and 6's and the regular Aces. I would like to PM you with my soloution to your method and see if I am correct. Let me know if that is o.k. with you.

Do you do Reset or Invisible Palm Aces? Another card effect that I am working on, and I think is great, is "La Dama Inquieta" or in English it is called the Restless Lady.

Hi Ed !

First of all - you are welcomem to PM me.
Secondly, yes, I have a Invisible Palm routine. I will tape it today, and post it here on TM, and let you see it. Just working on my patter.
Thirdly, no, I do not perform a reset routine, and I do not perform "La Dama...". Hopefully, I will have time to put one routine of those together. Do you have a recording of yourself performing those tricks?

Rune, Thanks for responding to my inquiry. Alas, I do not currently have a web cam. I am thinking of purchasing one but my funds are limited right now.

That trick is fantastic. I'm planning to give it the "what I know" repeated veiwing to figure it out as I've already figured out some of it.

Rune, not seen this before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Love anything with my favourite sleight 8)

I know your handling and manipulations are always excellent but my only critisism is the final reveal of the 4 blank cards.

The way you move your hand across the table and spread the cards doesn't seem right. First, it looks like you are doing something (which you aren't because its all done) and secondly it ends the effect quite abruptly.

My suggestion would be to milk the finish and table the blank cards face down and then slowly turn each one over to reveal them as blank.

I don't know what the patter is supposed to be for this effect and if anyone knows it please PM me with it. I'd like to see this done with 8 blank cards, 4 of which have a topical image printed on them, or even better, two sets of images on the 8 blank cards. Maybe the 2 Conservative contenders, or Blair and his stupid wife, Bin Laden and Bush, economic electric cars versus 4x4's.

I can see a lot of potential for making this a very topical routine. AND, pulling a set of topical cards out of your pocket negates the usual 'why not use ordinary cards' question when producing a packet trick.

Rune, have you ever tried it with 2 sets of cards from an ordinary deck, such as the 3's and the 6's ?? I'd be interested to know if the spectators caught on to the duplicates being seen !!!

the original Peter Kane version uses 8s and 9s if i remember correctly
