Hello to everyone

Postby Happy Madison » Sep 10th, '14, 16:27

Just registered on the forum and wanted to introduce myself to the community. I'm 39 and live on the outskirts of Birmingham but are looking to make the move to Cornwall in the next 3 to 5 years. I've been practicing and performing for 14 years. At first, cards but have moved more into mentalism and hypnosis. I'm currently working on a 1 hour to 1 hour 20 mins show with a bit of everything in. Scripting it and practicing it, really excited with it. I still have a deep love for card magic and have a set list of effects which I rotate when I perform for people. As with everyone, I'm learning all the time and I think that's one of the many great things about magic.

My main influences are (in no particular order) Jack Carpenter, Paul Stockman, Andy Nyman, Bill Malone, Ed Marlo, Derren Brown, Michael Ammar, Marc Spellman, Lennart Green, Banachek, Richard Osterlind and many many more!!!! Many of my proposed show's effects have routines from these people which i've tweeked to my own style of performance. I'm a graphic designer as my full time job so all of my props I make myself which something I enjoy immensely.

I love magic and I can't wait to start making friends on the forum and having a real good 'chin wag'.

Hi and welcome to TM :)

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
