Hi, I have recently been thinking about the original ACAAN AKA The Berglas Effect.

I don't know how it was done but as many magicians can say they have had there own methods but rarely do they meet the criteria of the original.
I have myself have an idea of how to replicate ACAAN and to the criteria of the original.
With my knowledge of magic I would like to know a couple of things.
With my version I would need the deck to be in the Si Stebbins St**k.
So first off if I know the bottom card is there a easy and quick way to know the position of another random card in the deck.

Secondly if I had gone through the points of asking for a number and card and with the method I have got couldn't continue with ACAAN what out could I use with the Si Stebbins St**k.

It has calculations to work out the position of any named card or the card at any named position.

I've played with ACAAN in stebbins, if it missed I'd still get the spectator to deal the cards out and then say something along the lines of "well that would have been good", then I get the spectator to shuffle the dealt cards back in with the rest of the cards and proceed with Up The Ante by Martyn Smith (which I prefer to ACAAN anyway): http://www.magicshop.co.uk/Close_Up_Mag ... _info.html
