Sean Goodman is running an exciting workshop on 10 January 2015 aimed at generating new business in the recession proof and highly lucrative wedding market. Having provided close up magic at some 50 weddings in 2014, if you are looking for practical and proven sales techniques and marketing strategies then this workshop is for you.

I guess it all depends what you get out of it Mr Invisible - one extra wedding booking will more than cover the cost of the workshop. Plus I'm offering a money back guarantee.

Obviously I have no idea who you are. Your link does not work for me. But I'll take it on faith and for arguments sake that you know what you are talking about. Given that I would suggest to others that if you were to take an accredited course in Marketing it would easily cost double if not triple the 195 (here on the other side of the pond anyway) And most who put into practice the techinques involved would probably agree it is well worth the money.

Magicians fail not because of a lack of magic skills but because of a lack of business skills. The reverse of that is, I know plenty of not great magicians who are very successfull in the magic world because they understand the business world.

I'm sorry the link didn't work for you bmat - not sure why that is. If you want I can email you the pdf directly.

I have been a professional magician for over 20 years now, and have published a few magic effects such as Genetics, Tick Tock, Starstruck and CelebriDate which you may have seen in the States. My background has been in sales and marketing, which has certainly helped in my magic career - I don't rely on agents for my work, it's all self generated. In terms of weddings, they represent the core of my business, with 50 bookings this year.

This workshop will not be for the masses, I appreciate that, but for those wanting to really move into the wedding market it will be invaluable.

Take my word for it. Sean told me about this and I was very honest and told him he maybe should keep this information to himself. I owe a lot to Sean for my early career in magic. He helped my business grow just by giving me some friendly advice.

Sean has the sales experience that many of us will never even scratch the surface of. He is a very busy magician and well worth listening to. Believe me this is a steal a £195. I think £1.000 would be to cheap. I honestly believe this will increase your wedding bookings by a huge amount (I know this because it did for me)

Sean, I still think you a nutter giving this information away but guys believe me this is a absolute steal.

Lee.

It says 'Lunch provided' - so it's even more of a bargain!

Got to say this sounds interesting. I would rather have teeth pulled than do close-up, but I have recently begun marketing a comedy hypnosis show for weddings. I would love to know how to crack that market. Does this system work beyond close-up?

Hi Tony,

Sounds interesting. It sounds as you have something certainly unique and different, which people will remember at a wedding. My experience is based on selling close up magic at weddings however, so without chatting to to you its difficult to assess if the workshop would work for you. Feel free to give me a buzz though - my number is at the bottom of the pdf. Cheers Sean

Doing close up magic at weddings seems to be a British thing. I have hardly heard of it over here for some odd reason.

Any chance of holding this event in other parts of the UK?

Hi Mandrake,

It'll depend on how the January workshop goes. Magicians will happily travel to Blackpool and other locations for Conventions, for perhaps a social experience and to see the latest and greatest magic tricks so I hope that location will not be too much of an issue for the workshop.
