Magic Clubs

Postby Johnny Wizz » Jan 18th, '15, 19:16

This is just a little note about the benefits of joining a magic club. I was today privileged to attend my first meeting of the Cornish Magical Society. I was made very welcome, we had a good, interesting meeting and it was a brilliant get together of people with a like minded interest in magic. I had previously struggled to find a magic club but am lucky to have this option now I am living in Cornwall. If you have a local club get out there and join it. There is so much to be had from the programmes they run as well as from the social side. Here endeth my soap box piece.

OK, CORRECTION TO STUPID TYPO MADE!

I have to agree! I joined the South London Magic Society a few months back, and its been great!

If you have a magic club near you... Give it a go! :)

I am not saying you are wrong, but my experience has been the exact opposite.

Glad it is working out for you people though.

Seconded. I think it comes down to the people and how it is run. The Vancouver IBM Ring was wonderful but I've belonged to a few and have had way more not great experiences. Too many ego's in one room.
