Oh dear, oh dear

From http://www.mirror.co.uk

Britain's Got Talent Final 2015: Jamie Raven caught out AGAIN as eagle-eyed viewers spot hole THROUGH his lemon.
A number of BGT fans took to Twitter to reveal they had spotted that the magician's lemon had a hole that went all the way through
There was some controversy about Jamie Raven's Britain's Got Talent semi-final act – and now he appears to have been caught out AGAIN.
The magician stunned the judges with his lemon trick on tonight's final but several eagle-eyed viewers claimed to have spotted a hole that went all the way through the fruit.

Jamie started his main trick by handing judge Alesha Dixon a black box with a golden ribbon around it.
He then got her to sign a BGT banknote before blowing into it and it turned into a note instructing her to open the mystery box.
Inside the box there was a smaller box and she opened it up to reveal a red bag containing a lemon.
She pulled out a lemon from the bag and he started to cut it and a note only to reveal the BGT banknote inside.
But several viewers spotted that Jamie had a hole going all the way through his lemon.

One wrote: "Jamie Raven your not quite dynamio just yet. . . is that a hole in the bottom of your lemon #BGTfinal"
Another posted: "Hole in the bottom of the lemon! #BGTfinal"

One shared: "Am I the only person that saw the massive hole in @jamieravenmagic 's lemon?! #BGT"

Earlier in the act Jamie apologised for calling Alesha "sir" beforehand. He said: "Alesha, I'm so so sorry for calling you sir on national television."

and a dog act won the final... sez it all really.....

Ha, well I showed the offending clip/s to my girl this morning on youtube, she never spotted anything. On my discussion of the various arguments put forth she agreed he may have been a little hasty in his conjouring random words routine but as far as the lemon went I'll have to quote "Well that's rediculous, whoever tweeted that needs a damn good slap! They've just ruined it for everyone else!".

So yes, watch out, my girl is coming to get you. :)

It was all just a bit unfortunate I'd say, cameras all over the place and such. Oh well. I think he did a sterling job in the circumstances! :D

I was talking to some non-magic friends last night, they all watched BGT and none of them spotted anything untoward.

As with all magicians, Jamie's trickery was open and honest. However the plot thickens....

From MSN:

Britain's Got Talent champion Jules O'Dwyer has said she is "shocked and surprised" by the public's reaction to her revelation that she used a stunt double dog for her winning sketch.

The guide dog trainer, who beat Welsh choir Cor Glanaethwy and magician Jamie Raven to the £250,000 prize with a sketch involving a tightrope and stolen sausages, told ITV's Lorraine show that another border collie - Chase - walked the parallel ropes in their act, because Matisse is not keen on heights.

Annoyed fans expressed their irritation on Twitter, saying that another dog had performed the trick which won them the show while a statement from the show's producers suggested the judges were also not aware that a second dog had been used for the trick.

The dog trainer, originally from Blackpool but who now lives in Belgium, had earlier said on ITV show Lorraine: "Matisse is a little bit afraid of heights so, although he could physically do it, Chase is the dog who says 'I'm the action dog'. He plays the double for him ."

ITV has released voting figures which showed O'Dwyer and Matisse won by just 2% - getting 22.6% of votes, compared to 20.4% for magician Raven.

Hmmm... I suppose if Jamie had performed a routine involving identical twins he would still have been criticised?
