Hey folks, yes it arrived and I knew you'd all be dead curious
So I can't write a proper review yet, but it arrved a couple of days ago and I found a nice lazy rainy sunday most suitable for watching the DVD and finding out what the curious gimmick you get with it is...
I'll say it's not really for those scared of a bit of good old DIY, and it does require some faily spot on handling tho I've not made the gimmick yet, just watched the DVD. That said, his explinations are very clear and cover everything you would want to / could do with the effect. There's even of course a section on 'animal handling' haha, for the goldfish you see in the vid.
Some objects are much more angle proof than others, and the method of vanishing the object is really brilliant I must say tho I'm no expert. Doesn't stop me form appreciating something very clever tho! I'm quite excited to try it tho I've been distracted trying to get a good Extreme Burn gimmick ready this weekend. I'm sure this isn't for everyone but I'd say on a first watch that if you like the effect and have the patience to make the gimmick and put in a lot of practice, and aren't scared of a bit of audience management then you may be impressed
I'm most glad to report all that and I'll let you know how it goes when I try making the thing, and it is done with US Dollars of course. Could be trickier with some other types of bills but I'll find out soon which is the best. It could all still go very frustratingly but anyway the first impression is better than I thought and the vanish is just lovely
