There was a link to a video, posted on here aaaaages ago .... I remember it well, as I was VERY impressed.
It wasn't a tutorial; just a demonstration of the move and how it really should be done.
The only problem is, I can't remember who did it, so I can't even Google for the video.

Anyone any ideas please ??

Checking the old posts I see there were several which contained links to vids of the EC but, sadly, these links no longer work. Not surprising really, some were posted over ten years ago!

Ah .... through that link, I stumbled on his name (the guy who performed the change) and I immediately recognised the name- Euan Bingham

Ah yes! That is the chap who infuriated Harry Lorayne by criticising what many regard as his greatest book. And I see even on this link he is tearing Wesley James to pieces. I am afraid this chap does not have my knack for courteous diplomacy. The trouble with magicians is that they think their opinions matter.

Naturally mine matters more than anyone elses so I will give it here. He does the move very well but astute and observant people will note that he pushes the card forward at the beginning. That has always been a fault with this particular move. However decades ago I devised a way of avoiding this because in my infinite genius I always knew it was a problem. Alas I am too lazy to describe it here and in any event I find it difficult to describe technical moves properly. I can do it but it takes up more energy than I have available.

Giobbi's Card College Volume 3 covers the proper handling without the movement of pushing the card forward. Mark Lewis is not credited.

Of course I am not credited, my boy. That is because I have never mentioned it up to now. Perhaps it is a case of independent invention or perhaps it is another idea altogether. I have not read the Giobbi book on the rather obvious grounds that I know everything anyway. Besides I never read books written after 1954 anyway. However, I am prepared to give you a clue as to my method and you can perhaps tell me if the Giobbi handling is along similar lines. Mine involves the word "bevel" which should enable you to inform us all if that particular word is in the Giobbi description.
